Local Church Services Move Online

in Community/People

Like many churches, First Lutheran Church, Knoxville is making the best of a trying situation during these times.  Every week on the church website (https://www.firstknoxville.org/) there’s the link to the service folder used in worship (March 22nd service is located here:  https://www.firstknoxville.org/?p=4695), with the order of worship and Bible readings for the entire service, along with the sermon from Pastor Larry Rockemann.  Because this is pre-recorded, you can watch/listen whenever you want and as often as you like.  The link to the services and sermons is available on the church’s official FaceBook page as well (https://www.facebook.com/KnoxFirstLutheran/).

“Together with First Lutheran School, the congregation seeks to serve the entire Knoxville community with the Word and blessings that come from God, reminding all of us that the Lord is at our side, leading the way through these dark and trying days.  And we continue to pray for those who have succumbed to the COVID-19 virus and for all those medical personnel and first responders who are taking tremendous time and energy to care for all those in need.  May the Lord watch over and keep us all.” – Pastor Rockemann
