Defensive tackle Charles House makes commitment

Three-star defensive tackle recruit Charles House has committed to the Tennessee Volunteers over the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide. House is the Volunteers’ 13th commitment in the class of 2025. Tennessee has the No. 14 recruiting class in the country after his commitment.

House is ranked as the No. 612 recruit in the nation, the No. 64 defensive lineman and the No. 14 recruit in North Carolina, per 247Sports. On3 does rank House as a four-star recruit.

Tennessee football defensive back Cristian Conyer enters transfer portal

On Monday, Tennessee defensive back Cristian Conyer announced on social media that he has entered the transfer portal. Conyer has three years of eligibility remaining in his college career.

“I have entered the transfer portal with three years of eligibility remaining,” Conyer said on X. “I’d like to thank Coach Heupel and the University of Tennessee for the chance to play in the SEC. I appreciate the support of the coaching staff, my teammates and fans. Thank you, Vol Nation!”

2025 4-star wide receiver Radarious Jackson commits to Tennessee Football

 2025 four-star recruit Radarious Jackson committed to Tennessee Football on Monday afternoon. Jackson is now the ninth Tennessee commit, second wide receiver, and fourth in-state addition in the 2025 class. Joakim Dodson, from Collierville, is the other receiver in the class.

Jackson currently plays for Sheffield High School in Memphis and was one of Tennessee’s top in-state targets. Other SEC schools showed interest, including Ole Miss Auburn and Mississippi State. Jackson said he felt a personal connection to the coaching staff at Tennessee after his visit earlier in April.

Tight End Rotation Taking Shape For Tennessee This Spring

A revamped tight end room featuring two major transfers and one returning redshirt freshman is taking shape for the Tennessee football team, which completed its 10th practice of the spring on Saturday afternoon at Haslam Field.

The Volunteers went full pads to conclude the third week of spring ball. Second-year tight ends coach Alec Abeln addressed members of the media following the practice along with transfers Holden Staes (Notre Dame) and Miles Kitselman (Alabama).

Adam Guthrie Locks In First Tennessee Visit

Miami Trace High School offensive tackle Adam Guthrie commands 21 offers after his sophomore season. His suitors include Auburn, Kentucky, Penn State, Syracuse, and Texas A&M. Guthrie stands 6-7 and 285 pounds and is fresh off leading Miami Trace to a 7-5 record. He’s set up several unofficial visits for the spring, including a first look at the Vols.

Tennessee offered Guthrie on Monday a few short minutes after he released his visit schedule. Offensive line coach Glen Elarbee has a strong team of assistants who help him identify these early talents and begin developing relationships. They’ll help him work on Guthrie when he arrives in Knoxville, Tennessee, as he looks like an early national prospect. Guthrie has already visited the Michigan Wolverines and the Ohio State Buckeyes early in his career; it’s tough to pull northern prospects from the Big Ten, but if an SEC coaching staff deems them worth the effort, they certainly will pursue.

Dylan Lewis Talks Tennessee Junior Day Visit

Tennessee had another successful junior day. Milton High School corner Dylan Lewis made the trip to Knoxville, Tennessee, marking his third visit since he committed to the University of Tennessee in October. He recapped his stay with Volunteer Country.

Lewis meares in at 6-1 and 180 pounds. The talented defender won a state championship with Milton this season and is with fellow Volunteer corner commit Tyler Redmond.

Cherry said football was fun and made him tougher

On one of the first days of preseason football practice at Austin-East High School last August, basketball standout Shane Cherry was on the sideline observing. Not long after that, he joined the team.

He started out as a wide receiver but moved to quarterback and had a remarkable season as a junior.
